WhitePress is a large link-building marketplace with more than 146,000 websites, extensive SEO data and publishers across dozens of countries. On paper, that gives you plenty of choice.

But choice is only useful if you can separate the worthwhile opportunities from the rest. That is where the platform really needs to prove itself.

For this review, I explored the publisher marketplace, search filters, SEO metrics, link options and the information available before placing an order. I wanted to see how useful the platform really is for finding backlink opportunities and, just as importantly, where you still need to do your own homework.

I did not purchase a backlink for this review, so I won’t judge publication quality, link permanence or actual SEO ROI. There is still quite a lot you can assess without spending a cent.

Some parts of WhitePress stand out more than others, particularly its publisher selection, filtering and international coverage. The ratings below provide a quick overview of how its main features and capabilities compare.

What I Like

  • Large publisher selection – access to more than 146,000 websites gives users far more choice than a small curated guest-post list
  • Plenty of SEO data – the platform combines its own website data with information from established SEO tools, making it easier to compare publishers before opening each site manually
  • Strong filtering – more than 50 filters are available, which matters when you’re dealing with such a large database
  • International coverage – support for 36 languages makes the platform particularly useful for agencies and businesses working across several countries
  • No compulsory subscription for the basic marketplace – you can inspect opportunities and pay for selected placements rather than committing to a monthly plan

What I Don’t Like

  • There is a lot of information on screen – experienced SEOs may appreciate the depth, but beginners could find the number of metrics, filters and options a little overwhelming
  • Pricing can vary considerably between publishers – similar-looking websites can have noticeably different placement costs, so comparing value is not always as straightforward as comparing their headline SEO metrics
  • The platform has a learning curve – with article publications, link insertions, content services, projects, filters and monitoring tools in one system, it takes some time to become familiar with everything WhitePress offers

What Is WhitePress?

WhitePress is a content distribution and link-building marketplace that connects advertisers with publishers. The company started in Poland in 2013, later expanded into other European markets and was acquired by RTB House in 2021.

Today, the platform advertises more than 146,000 websites, 384,000 offers and support for 36 languages. It has also moved beyond being a basic guest-post marketplace. Users can now work with article publications, link insertions, content creation, backlink monitoring and other digital PR or link-building services from the same ecosystem.

That broader scope is useful, although it also makes the platform feel more complex than a simple “choose a site and buy a guest post” service.

How WhitePress Works

The process is fairly straightforward. You create a project, search for publishers, compare their offers and select where you want your content placed. You can provide your own article or use content-related services available through the platform, with payment handled through WhitePress.

Where the platform stands out is in how much information it gives you to make that selection. The WhitePress marketplace offers more than 50 filters and includes SEO data from providers such as Ahrefs, alongside its own website assessments.

Publishers can be filtered by criteria such as category, country, organic traffic, authority and price. With more than 146,000 websites in the database, those filtering options are not just a nice extra; they are what make a marketplace of this size practical to use.

The amount of data also makes comparing shortlisted publishers considerably easier. You can get much of the initial information you need within the platform before deciding which websites deserve a closer look.

WhitePress Link Insertions

Another option is adding links to existing content. This can be interesting because an older article may already be indexed, rank for keywords or have backlinks of its own. That gives an existing page advantages that a newly published guest post may not have.

But age alone is not enough. If an article is five years old, receives no traffic and sits deep inside the website, the fact that it already exists doesn’t make it valuable.

I would want to see the actual URL, check whether it ranks and decide whether the new link fits naturally into the article. WhitePress says many link insertions can be published within 72 hours. Since I did not purchase one, I cannot independently verify that turnaround.

How Much Does WhitePress Cost?

There is no single WhitePress price. Publishers set different rates depending on the website and the type of placement being offered. I prefer that to artificial fixed-price backlink packages; a small industry blog and a major publication obviously should not cost the same.

The core marketplace uses a pay-as-you-go model, so you do not need to pay a monthly subscription just to browse and choose publications.

The danger is chasing the cheapest link that meets a metric threshold. A $70 backlink that contributes nothing is not necessarily a bargain. A more expensive placement on a relevant website with real readers may offer considerably better value.

Since I didn’t buy a placement, I would not give the service a definitive ROI score.

The Publication Guarantee Is Useful

The platform promotes monitoring and publication guarantees for qualifying placements. That matters because links can disappear. A publisher can remove an article, change a URL or edit an outgoing link months after publication; if nobody checks, you may never notice.

There is also a Backlink Manager that can be used to monitor links from different sources. I like this part of the platform.

It is not enough by itself to justify buying backlinks through WhitePress, but centralized monitoring becomes useful once you’re managing links from marketplaces, outreach campaigns and direct publisher relationships at the same time.

Is WhitePress Safe for Link Building?

That depends partly on how you use it. Buying links specifically to manipulate Google’s ranking systems can violate Google’s policies. Paid links used for advertising or sponsorship should be appropriately qualified, including with attributes such as rel=”sponsored” where relevant.

So using WhitePress does not somehow remove the risks associated with paid link building. I would see it mainly as a publisher discovery and campaign-management platform. It can help you find opportunities, but the judgment about whether those opportunities are sensible should be still yours.

Who Is WhitePress Best For?

The service makes the most sense for experienced website owners, SEO professionals and agencies. The international database is probably its biggest advantage for agencies. If you’re managing campaigns in several countries, having publishers from multiple markets inside one system can save a lot of manual outreach.

Smaller website owners can use it too. But beginners should be careful.

The platform gives you a large menu. It doesn’t tell you which meal you should order.

If you don’t yet know how to assess relevance, organic traffic, website quality or suspicious publishing patterns, having thousands of options can actually make the decision harder.

Bottom Line: Is WhitePress Worth Trying?

WhitePress has a lot going for it: a large publisher database, detailed SEO metrics, strong filtering and particularly good international coverage. Bringing all of that into one platform makes finding and comparing potential placements considerably easier.

It isn’t the simplest marketplace to get familiar with, and prices can vary quite a bit between publishers. But for experienced link builders and agencies that want plenty of choice without relying on a small predefined list of websites, there is a lot to like here.

Overall, WhitePress is worth trying, particularly if publisher choice, SEO data and international reach are high on your list.

Would I use WhitePress to find potential backlink opportunities? Yes.
Would I trust every website inside the marketplace without checking it myself? No.
